Sergio, Some excellent questions. This is also better suited for our user list, so I'm replying to that list instead of the developer mailing list.
First Scenario: Yes - You would just setup a loan product with a grace on both interest + principal and it should be set for 5 months. Second Scenario: Mifos can do this too - You would just setup a different loan product where the grace is on principal only. One other thing to note, is if you're calculating that interest only over the six month periods (and its a flat interest rate), you would need to adjust it for APR (See this thread - http://is.gd/bUEsh) Ryan On 5/5/10 6:08, "Sergio Segura Gomez" <[email protected]> wrote: > hi everyone, i am from mexico and my client have a little need XD, i > don't know if mifos is provided. > > first: > he need a payment schedule, a period of six months, that the customer > can pay all the amount at last, with interes and capital. > > i think mifos can do that. > > but the second one: > he need a payment schedule that the customer can pay interest(only > interest per month) and at last month pay interest plus principal > > in both we are searching a fixed payment > ____ > for example > > amount 50000 in six months, 17 % of interest > > month 1: 8500, month 2: 8500, month 3: 8500, month 4: 8500, month 5: > 8500, month 6: 58500 > > > > is there any way? > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Ryan Whitney Mifos Technical Program Manager [email protected] Mifos - Technology that Empowers Microfinance (www.mifos.org) Our mission is to enable the poor, especially the poorest, to create a world without poverty. <http://grameenfoundation.org/take-action/ingenuity-fund-challenge/> P please consider the environment before printing this e-mail. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Mifos-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mifos-users
