Polly, Mifos can not downgrade the database after upgrading.
The process of upgrading should be. 1 Backup the Database on older version just before upgrading. 2 Upgrade to new version. 3 * Test the new version. * 4 If any critical issue found then restore from the backup and run the older version. If you are in a critical environment people use a staging server to test the upgrade and testing process. I hope you have made the backup before upgrading.
