Hi Ed et al.

An EC2 m1.small instance should more than suffice.  If you wanted to
host the database portion on RDS a small instance would suffice there as
well.  If not hosting db + mifos + penthao should work fine on m1.small.
 I would not recommend the micro instances at all to run mifos on.
