</div>Hi Joe,

Happy to hear that you are live on Mifos and thanks for reaching out on the
list.

While there are quite a few Organizations transitioning from Mifos to MifosX ,
mainly those looking for better support for specific features they are
interested in (like integrated accounting, flexible saving products etc) ,
there are also a number of Organizations with no immediate plans to migrate to
MifosX.

Since MifosX is not an incremental update for Mifos (some functionality like
Client fees etc are handled quite differently in MifosX when compared to
Mifos), you would have to first evaluate MifosX and ensure that your
requirements are met before considering a transition. The community would be
happy to assist you in the same.

@ Brain
Nice to e-meet you, I'll let our Product Manager (Binny, in cc) respond with
various tasks you could help with

Thanks and Regards,
Vishwas

ED/VISHWAS/ALL,
Great job with Floss Weekly. I would like to introduce Brian and
myself to the community. We are currently running 2.6.1 w/ 20 closed loans
and about 35 active customers. We started production 02/17. Sense we are a
business in production what would the communities advice be on moving to
Mifos X? should we stay with the stable version at the moment? Our Leader of
IT has over 15 years IT banking experience here in the United States. How
can we help the community? As far as cloud and server computing Brian may be
able to add some value in cheaper hosting and competitive consulting prices
for Mifos installations and configurations. We are very greatful to all the
people who have taken/supported Mifos to this point and are here to serve.
