Likely not in another year and a half. ;-) Mikrotik 5 Ghz limits you so much it's not really worth using. No 5150, no DFS, etc.

Lots of ways it could be better, but all vendors have that. ----- Mike Hammett Intelligent Computing Solutions http://www.ics-il.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "tim2" <[email protected]> To: "Mikrotik Users" <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, December 12, 2014 6:25:26 AM Subject: Re: [Mikrotik Users] lost connectivity on three RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN routers We are moving 100% mikrotik. Don't rush to get a product to market if it won't stand the test. I like Mikrotik for routers and hotspot but new or replaced CPE and AP's will be UBNT. -- Bob Pensworth, WA7BOB | General Manager CresComm WiFi, LLC | Crescent Key | Peninsula Lions Club Serving Washington's Coastal Counties Since 1985 (360) 642-0858 | WISPA Principal Member -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [ mailto:[email protected] ] On Behalf Of Nick Bright Sent: Tuesday, December 09, 2014 1:35 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Mikrotik Users] lost connectivity on three RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN routers On 12/9/2014 2:47 AM, Bob Pensworth wrote: > We've lost connectivity on three RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN routers now. I haven't seen that exact problem, but I have been less than pleased with the RB2011 series. They're just not quite as reliable as MT's other products have been, in my opinion. Nothing specific, just a lot of odd issues that many people have posted to the lists about. -- ----------------------------------------------- - Nick Bright - - Vice President of Technology - - Valnet -=- We Connect You -=- - - Tel 888-332-1616 x 315 / Fax 620-331-0789 - - Web http://www.valnet.net/ - ----------------------------------------------- - Are your files safe? - - Valnet Vault - Secure Cloud Backup - - More information & 30 day free trial at - - http://www.valnet.net/services/valnet-vault - ----------------------------------------------- This email message and any attachments are intended solely for the use of the addressees hereof.
