Many of you know me, but some do not. I have been training people how to
use Mikrotik's RouterOS since before Mikrotik had it's first training
class (at least in the US) back in 2004. In those early days, we could
not hold enough classes to satisfy the needs of the user base. We were
turning people away due to over full classrooms.

Fast forward to 2009 and we see far smaller classes and MANY more
trainers in the marketplace. I see some good training events and some
that are not worth attending at any price. (Don't ask, I will only tell
you MINE is good. I won't tell you which are bad.) I would like to see
what kind of training Mikrotik users would like to see. I am willing to
put together some training events, but want to offer courses that cover
the specific needs of the end users. (I have an online course coming up
next week, which you can view details at http://www.butchevans.com/ ).

My questions:
1. If you have attended a training course (any training course), do you
feel that it covered the information you were looking for when you
signed up?

2. If you could pick the top 3 topics you'd like to see training offered
for, what would it be?

3. Given a choice of "live and in person", "live and online" and
"recorded online or otherwise", which would you pick (and why)?

4. If you have NOT attended any trainings on RouterOS, what is the
primary reason you have not attended?

Feel free to post your opinions here or direct email to
but...@butchevans.com. In case you are wondering, I am planning my next
year's training schedule and want to get some feedback (in advance) for
what topics the users are looking for in a training event.
