I finally got around to playing with this and am tearing my hair out over it. I can't seem to get traffic to flow.
Each side of my wireless link has an RB333 and two XR5 wireless cards. I set one side as AP (both cards are set to "AP Bridge") and one side as the station (I have tried both "station" and "station wds"). I followed Butch's example, substituting ether1/ether2 for wlan1/wlan2. I have a laptop connected to ether1 on the station side, and ether1 on the AP side is connected to my internal home network (192.168.1.0/24). Everything links up OK, and I can ping between routers using the OSPF network IPs (10.10.0.0/24, 10.10.1.0/24). However, I can't pass any traffic on my local network (192.168.1.0/24). I would assume that the Mikrotiks don't know what to do with the traffic (since there is no bridge enabled between the Ethernet ports and the wireless cards), but that is just a guess. If you have gotten this to work with a similar setup, could you please lend me a hand and help me get this working? I must be missing a step in the configuration.
