So you can have a network drive for file sharing on your network. Without a server. I'm as mystified as you, Josh. Seems like a waste of dev time, and a waste of router resources.

But what does Samba have to do with that? Extra storage with ext3 is
one thing, that makes sense (though that's always been around). The
addition of Samba is what I'm inquiring about.
