Why not a simple dropbox style file share for external clients? SMB to a folder on the router (sounds wrong) and a simple web interface, password protected for external access.

Well, to be honest, they probably just stopped turning off that part of the
Linux kernel, and called it a feature. :-)

Still waiting for LAC/LNS functionality for PPPoE.
