I just loaded 5.13 on my RB1000 a few weeks ago and its seems to be running well. My PTP filters stopped working when I jumped to 5.xx. Other than Butch's QOS script and connection tracking, I'm not running any routing protocols or anything else special.
It looks like 5.14 fixes: What’s new in 5.14 (2012-Feb-22 12:04): *) winbox – fixed problem when changing main winbox window size and some of the inner windows become hidden; *) backup – backup file creation failed if router identity name had / in it; *) wireless – improved nv2 link stability to reduce control frame timeouts, only AP requires update; *) fixed rare configuration retention problems on RB1100AHx2; *) certificate manager – fixed building certificate trust chain which caused certificate validation problems for some programs (VPN, SSTP etc) when downgrading from this version to older version please run “/certificate reset-certificate-cache” to maintain correct trust chain; On Mon, Feb 27, 2012 at 3:42 PM, john <j...@rcsaccess.net> wrote: > Does 5.14 seem stable? > > John Babineaux > Network Admin > Radio Communications Service > Crowley, Louisiana > > > > ______________________________**_________________ > Mikrotik mailing list > Mikrotik@mail.butchevans.com > http://www.butchevans.com/**mailman/listinfo/mikrotik<http://www.butchevans.com/mailman/listinfo/mikrotik> > > Visit http://blog.butchevans.com/ for tutorials related to Mikrotik > RouterOS > -- -RickG -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
