It is in 5.12.
Do be aware there are a few bugs in compact. Some of them are mentioned in the MT forum. There may be others. Overall it seems to work fairly well.

it is available beginning in 5.14 (I think).  To use it, just use the
"compact" argument to the export command.  For instance:
/export compact
will export ALL configuration that is not default.

/interface wireless export compact
will export all wireless configuration that is not default.
