I have a class c that I have subnetted into a /25, 4 /29, 2 /28, and 2 /27. I use the /29 blocks as "interconnect" addresses. The /25 is on an interface on my core router. Here is the issue:
x.x.124.145/29 is on ether2 on my core, x.x.124.146/29 is on ether1 of a rb450 at a customers' premise. This rb450 also has x.x.124.225/27 on ether2 which is connected to a switch. The customer is using x.x.124.235/27, x.x.124.237/27, x.x.124.238/27, and x.x.124.239/27 on their equipment attached to the switch. The problem is that there seems to be no connectivity between 235, 237, 238, and 239. Traffic from the outside world gets to all of them with no issue. There are no firewall filter or NAT rules in place, just a vanilla install with 2 ip addresses assigned and one static route for 0.0.0.0/0 pointing at x.x.124.145 What am I missing? I have duplicated this setup on a rb2011 using a different /27 and interconnect address and it worked exactly as expected -- everything talked to everything else. glennfinch System Administrator GL Mobile Communications | 306.922.1170 x115 | 888.922.1170 | gl...@glmobile.com _______________________________________________ Mikrotik mailing list Mikrotik@mail.butchevans.com http://www.butchevans.com/mailman/listinfo/mikrotik Visit http://blog.butchevans.com/ for tutorials related to Mikrotik RouterOS
