[milton-chat] registering domain names

Can anyone suggest a trustworthy organisation for registering 
a domain name ?  I want URL Redirection/Domain Forwarding for 
a church.  1and1 have increased their charges from £2/year 
to £54/6 months, which I consider Mafia-style extortion.  
Does www.freedomain.co.nr also resort to this ?
