I think I found the problem. I had a script that would force a filter reread. Doing a reread seems to kill the multiplexor. I've "fixed" the problem by changing the script to do a full restart of MIMEDefang. I know what you've said about the Perl internals, so this is probably as good as it gets. Is there any fix for the reread problems? I'm running version 2.43.
