It's easy enough to test; have your filter return failure for "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" and try it out to see if you get the log message.
Thanks. I've seen the error of my ways. I assumed to some extent that it kept the state of bad users. But it doesn't? looks like you can make an error disconnect, make an error disconnect, etc. without ever triggering the bad rcpt throttle.
