The draft sent to the MARID IETF working group was simplified as such,
callerID with SPF is Sender ID (basically M$ took the best parts from SPF and
what they liked about Caller ID so yeah, in the strictest sense, this is not
true... but in an overall sense it is).

Since the MARID working group was disolved due to the patent issues with M$
(thus killing it becoming even a draft "standard" you will have to read about
