According to the File::Spec man page, setting TMPDIR should work. :-)
Hmm, I set
TMP=$SPOOLDIR; export TMP; TMPDIR=$SPOOLDIR; export TMPDIR;
in the mimedefang startup script. That didn't work. Do you have an idea why ?
