I had the 64-bit version installed before but had to re-install my OS. I downloaded the file mingw-w64-v1.0-snapshot-20100730.tar.bz2 but this doesn't seem to extract to the same directory structure I had before. ============================================== I think that was a source tarball that you downloaded - you're after an x64 pre-built mingw64 binary. But geez, it's currently hard to find such a beast at http://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw-w64/files/ . I was thinking, maybe: http://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw-w64/files/Toolchains%20targetting%20Win64/Automated%20Builds/mingw-w64-1.0-bin_i686-mingw_20100702.zip/download But that might be a 32-bit compiler ? (I'm thinking that the "i686-mingw" part denotes 32-bit, and that you're looking for "x86_64-mingw" instead .... which I don't see anywhere.) Better wait for some better advice :-) Cheers, Rob ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Make an app they can't live without Enter the BlackBerry Developer Challenge http://p.sf.net/sfu/RIM-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Mingw-w64-public mailing list Mingw-w64-public@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mingw-w64-public
