Hello, A few months ago there was a conversation on this list about an improved threading model that will avoid the dependency on pthread-like wrappers.
Sometimes it was referenced as win64, which a few developers considered it wrong and that "win32" threading should be enhanced instead. Either way, wanted to follow up that conversation and see if someone is working on that and offering my mindless assistance testing things out across different projects. While winpthread work is great and has enabled C++ thread work on Windows, I still believe a non-posix wrapper approach can be obtained. Thank you in advance for your time. -- Luis Lavena AREA 17 - Perfection in design is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but rather when there is nothing more to take away.
