No, seriously. I'm vaguely aware that mingw-builds was nominated as the
official binary distribution of MinGW-W64, but I grew accustomed to
considering the multiple available binaries as "contributed by the
community." Ruben's, mingw-builds, TDM... It might be confusing for the
newcomer, but it was enriching on its own way.

I see that the Downloads section of mingw-w64.sf.net lists quite a few
binary distributions (and says nothing about the special status of
mingw-builds). I miss MSYS2 there. It provides an updated POSIX
environment and lots of packages. Having it around is a good thing for
MinGW-W64.
