The FPC has just approved our draft with updated guidelines!
There's only one addition they want to be made to the section about
executables:

--

Executables which are required for proper functionality of the
libraries must be packaged in the matching mingw32/mingw64 subpackage.
All other executables are discouraged, but may be packaged in optional
(dependent) subpackages at a packager's discretion.

--

I'm pretty sure all you Fedora MinGW packagers will agree with this
addition to the packaging guidelines. I would recommend all Fedora MinGW
packagers to take a look at their packages and perform updates as needed
to be compliant with the updated packaging guidelines.

The updated guidelines will soon show up on
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:MinGW
(If these aren't updated yet by the time you read this, then the draft
can be found at
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PackagingDrafts/MinGWCrossCompiler)

With this we can also continue various package reviews which were
stalled due to this subject.

Regards,

Erik
