I believe it's coming from https://github.com/mirage/mirage-bootvar-xen/blob/master/lib/bootvar.ml#L43 , since "Malformed boot parameter" (as seen in the output here https://gist.github.com/sgrove/dd47f8a7e34583b809f4#file-ec2_boot_console_output-L95, and passed by ec2 here https://gist.github.com/sgrove/dd47f8a7e34583b809f4#file-ec2_boot_console_output-L11) doesn't show up in Functoria. That said, I chatted a bit with Drup about this, and he mentioned that Functoria will run into the same issue, even if we can get past the bootvar-xen issue.
Is it perhaps possible to change the boot parameters for EC2 (I'll google as I have been doing in order to get this far, but perhaps someone knows already)? If not, what's the solution for handling this?
