Yes, the problem lies in interrupts, I've just tried xl, fxp and rl Nic's, and none of them works as em. Furthermore their interrupts are not showed in vmstat -i.
It would be very helpfull if some wise guy could tell me where to look for the problem.
Otherwise I'll have to go thru the kernel sources again. Thanks in advance MichaE Koc
