Similar patches for CrystalFontz are available for OpenBSD: http://archives.neohapsis.com/archives/openbsd/2004-04/0596.html > Darn, I was kind of hoping to use the new CrytalFontz CFA635 (20x4, > plus a keypad on a PCB that will fit into a 5.25" bay). Looking at the specs and test (Linux) script for the CFA635, it might just come up as a USB serial adapter, automatically or with a kernel patch (see above). I'm not quite sure enough of this to spend seventy bucks, so I bought a 634 with the serial interface, and (after patching LCDproc) it works fine under OpenBSD. Kevin Kadow
