Bad disk? Bad memory? Looks very strongly like hardware defects. Perhaps also old flakey solder joints on the mainboard, could be nearly anything. Perhaps even the cable between mainboard/controller and hdd. Some cheap thing to try is removing all plugs and replugging them, same for sockets or similar, as the contacts can often be a bit corroded, and unplugging and re-plugging them may often rub off some of the corroded metal, making the contact more secure again. >thanks >sharad birmiwal >india Kind regards, Hannah.
