Hi all,

I've never really used OpenBSD. I had it installed on a machine, but didn't
do much with it. I was always happy with my Gentoo Linux boxes.

But now i have the following problem: We have a network connection that we
have to share among 13 ppl, but on that internet connection we are only
allowed to dowload 13Gb per month (actually, last 30 days is what counts). I
now need a router that keeps track how much every user downloaded in the
last 30 days, and if that user goes over his share, block that user (or make
his connection really slow) until he has enough credit again to download
again.

It is possible that the number of users, downloadlimit and per user
downloadlimit vary, but that will not happen very often, so i can do that on
the command line every time this is needed. Users should be identified by
MAC address, and ofcourse only the MAC addresses i entered are legal.

A nice bonus would be that for a given user, i could enter multiple mac
addresses, but this is not absolutely needed.

Now i don't find an easy way to do this in linux, and i've heard that this
was relatively easy to do with OpenBSD. Can someone point me at some
documentation on how to do that please?

Thank you for your help,

Tom
