That's true. However, I don't think we should feel upset about it. I'm sure Mr Ritchie just wanted to contribute to the world, as many hackers of that time and he did it. This is his greatest achievement. Great people don't wait for an admiration. They just do whatever they can to make their dreams come true. I truly admire all individuals and genuses who make our world even little less problematic.
