Hi,
I have replaced an old VIA C7 motherboard with a Nano X2 and changed the
DVD/CD drive from an IDE to SATA. On booting OpenBSD hangs with the
following repeating lines:
wdc_atapi_intr: warning: reading only 0 of 18 bytes

No response to the keyboard and have to power cycle the box. Some
googling around turned up a report from a couple of years ago about
problems using second SATA channel:

One difference, this is not doing an install, this is booting a disc
with an existing install on a new motherboard (I know, I'm lucky to get
a boot, just thought I would try it). Disconnecting the DVD drive lets
the system boot without a problem, which seems to mean the issue is
still present, although now in the VX900 chipset. Any suggestions
anyone? And yes I know 5.2 is imminent - order has already gone in.
FTR the system runs fine. It uses VESA for X and you can't get any of
the consoles F1 thru F4 to display after leaving X but I am happy to
wait for openchrome support in 5.2.
