With -current, I can on my Ivy Bridge laptop (Thinkpad X230). However, the text consoles are gone (all blank) after a suspend-resume. xbacklight(1) can control the screen brightness, but, bizarrely, only if it's been adjusted at least once with the hotkeys during the BIOS phase of the boot. -- Christian "naddy" Weisgerber na...@mips.inka.de
