Please, adjust number-of-open-files limits in /etc/login.conf and /etc/sysctl.conf. "pkg_info kde-runtime" will give you some clues. I did sysctl kern.shminfo.shmall=51200 kern.shminfo.shmmni=1024 and sysctl kern.maxfiles=20000 as pkg_info kde-runtime says, but that really broke things. Now kde doesn't start. I get a fatal error saying "no screen found" Stan
