this example has potential to confuse of course, however NFD normalizing will not turn it into '/etc', as they are not composite characters: '/': unicode cat=Po 'e': unicode cat=Ll 't': unicode cat=Ll 'c': unicode cat=Ll (Po=other punctuation, Ll=lowercase letter) -f -- i quit drinking/smoking/& sex once. very boring 15 minutes.
