known issue, fix coming soon. because the broadwell driver has issues with suspend/resume, acceleration was disabled in the X driver (which makes resume work). but the unaccelerated X codepath isn't well tested and has crashes of its own. the X change will be reverted soon. (and then you will likely have trouble with resume without other workarounds.)
