Thanks Stuart. I am on the 5.8 release. Just pulled down the ports tree from -stable and did a `make update` in `ports/www/apache2-httpd`. (The diff seems to have been applied in -stable.) Apache is now running fine with mod_cgid. I appreciate the quick help.
