As you said there are a few l2tp projects available but I do not like them. Most do not scale very well or have different issues -- especially they do only L2TPv2. As I said it is on my todo list but first I need to "finish" bgpd and ospfd. Btw. just becuase it is on my todo list I encourage others who are intersted in it to start a project. L2TPv3 is not as complex as v2 and for a start it could be written 100% in userland. -- :wq Claudio
