If your objective is to be able to disable the touchpad when using a
mouse (to avoid the annoying random behavior when you accidentally
touch the touchpad with your palms while typing), running "synclient
TouchpadOff=1" will do it. Obviously, "synclient TouchpadOff=0" will
turn it back on.
