Hello misc, Some days ago , I tried to install OpenBSD 6.0 using vmwpvs ( Vmware Paravirtual )
When obsd installer finish, I received a message that the boot could not been done using my disk. So I did a research on OBSD mailing lists and found: "There's a problem with vmwpvs(4) where the first write gets lost. IIRC if you shell out from the installer and run fdisk -iy sd0 manually once, then resume installing, it then works. " I follow it and solved ! I was able to boot my new OpenBSD fresh install. * I performed it using full disk encryption Is there any workaround beside this or is it a legit bug ? Thank you
