Hi, I'm wondering how to access my webcam as a normal user. I verified that it does work, but I can only access it as root. Therefore, it is currently not available for web-based video calls.
If I run ls -la /dev/video0, it shows: crw-r----- 1 root wheel 44, 0 Feb 5 13:35 /dev/video As I am a member of the wheel group, I should in theory be able to access it, What am I missing here ?
