Hello misc, has anybody Dell PowerEdge R430 or E440 running with OpenBSD? Is the hardware supported?
I can't really get the exact chipsets from vendor to cross check with drivers in OpenBSD and I can't find dmesg or mention anywhere. (Checked dmesgd.nycbug.org, archives and google generally) I would like to have OpenBSD softraid RAID1 with 3 SSD drives, but I'm not sure what controllers are supported. Vendor states these storage controllers for R440: PERC H330, H730p, H740p, HBA330, Software RAID (SWRAID) S140 R430: HBA330/H330/H730/H730P The chipset is should be C620 for R440 and C610 for R430. I have no idea what the chip for ethernet is. Any hints, please, what should/would work? I intend to share dmesg to dmesg@ and nycbug's dmesgd. Thank you, Jan
