This specific issue appears to have disappeared (for now). I'm typing this on the laptop, running OpenBSD, with the docking station attached. There is still a current issue with the docking station. When I connect or disconnect, the laptop freezes (no kernel messages show up), and I can only do a hard shutdown by pressing the power button for about 5 s or so. Marco
