Can't properly reply to the thread. I need to fix my subscription, but why not just update the following to work on OpenBSD?
https://github.com/ghostbsd/networkmgr Seems like a better use of resources than reinventing the wheel. Unless there is something fundamental I am missing in the new project. The linked project would also work for wired networks, not just wifi.
