I used a Thinkpad 13 2nd Gen with OpenBSD. Everything worked as expected, all the function keys worked, no problems with power management.
I'm willing to bet that most modern Thinkpads can handle OpenBSD. There might be models that don't support OpenBSD but they're few and far between. Ben Raskin.
