It could work, but someone would need to add support, probably to ath(4), and without breaking things for other devices. I doubt things changed since https://marc.info/?l=openbsd-tech&m=139963461524621&w=2 If you can't change the card I suggest an 11n USB wifi adapter (*not* 11ac, no driver support for most 11ac USB on OpenBSD, 11n USB are much more likely to work).
