That post is from May 2023. Since then we have had another release (7.4) and significant work in most areas since then. My main suggestion would be to try with 7.4 or if you are more adventurous, a snapshot and if there are any problems use the mailing lists, including bugs@ (see man sendbug) and follow up on any response from developers. - Peter -- Peter N.
