I run x11vnc and have not noticed any issues moving from 7.7 to 7.8, but in
this case it may be because I am using the '-noshm' flag. For reference, I use
the following as my full set of flags, mostly taken from the pkg README with a
couple others added over time:

x11vnc_flags=-localhost -logfile /var/log/x11vnc -ncache 0 -forever -loop100
-auth guess -rfbauth /etc/x11vncpasswd -nevershared -display :0 -noshm

Hope some of that is helpful.
