Your political/economic views on the port do not matter, OpenBSD is for everyone and thus any software should be included provided someone is willing to give the time to port it. There is no requirement for you to be of a certain political affiliation to use OpenBSD, otherwise OpenBSD wouldn't be open source would it? So why should a port be disregarded because some people within the community dislike the software? Nobody is forcing you to install the port. If they want to use Monero as a currency, then thats their choice, and they should be able to do that on the operating system of their choice, even proprietary operating systems like Windows allow you to use cryptocurrencies.
