Hey, So I have been testing RPI 3b+ as a terminal server, however I am experiencing wide ranges of inconsistencies with networking using the integrated interface (mue).
Some boots work fine, networking works as expected. On other boots the physical interface is never found, no errors or mention of it existing in dmesg, and more commonly, the interface works, it comes up, but it drops out every 5 or so seconds for 10-15 seconds (ICMP shows it drops about 70% of packets) and the only solution is to keep rebooting the pi until it doesn't drop any packets. Anyone have any ideas on what else I could try? Note, the intermediate switch between the two devices (my test device im pinging it on) and the rpi itself have been tested, they are not the problem. I have also tried multiple rpi 3b+, so I am concerned this might be a mue driver issue :/ Thanks, -- Polarian Jabber/XMPP: [email protected]
