Hello, You really mean hardware raid ? or Software raid ?
Used in the past with success over incident, & rebuild of the disk that has been changed. with softraid. raidctl .......... I think ..... Hardware raid is not related to Operating System at all excepted for monitoring / incident reporting like "stocli /c0 show ...." if my memory is good , or sysctl hw.raid or sysctl hw.disknames grep -i raid /var/log/messages .... sysctl hw.sensors..... smartctl -a ......... and so on .... what is your use-case / question ?
