I resurrect the thread..
I got the time to play on an efi boot issue on my Fujitsu and I was able to see maybe the same black screen you were talking about till the disk initialization. I then went in the Bios and switching video rom from uefi to legacy my blank screen disappired and all is fine now. Maybe it can help you as well.. dan bsd.numode.eu
