Hello everybody,

I would like to set up a local FTPd.
pkg_add allows to update packages but for this new packages must be
avaiable ofcourse. Is there a script to build all packages from the
Ports-Tree (f.e. the script used to make all the packages for every
release).

I`m not sure if a simply make package would be enought already.

Did somebody wrote such a script (wich also prevents rebuilding of every
package if just a few Ports where updated?).

I plan it this way:
I`ve a Duron 900 wich would run an ftpD and does cvs-updates (so the Ports
are updated). But compiling the same software on many systems is a kind of
waste and the official Sourced do not (always) provide updated packages.
So the little Box should compile all packages and then just recompile the
packages wich need to be updated.

This would lead to a simply and easy to use Update-Server for a local lan.
(Maybe that`s also an idea for tech@ to include it to the Base-System (a
simple shellscript wich helps you building own Update-Servers).

Kind regards,
Sebastian
