I hate to add to the "Me Too" crowd about this issue, but I myself have been experiencing this also. I was running a snapshot of 3.7 where the machine would crash pretty hard from it after the watchdog timeout appeared a few times over the period of a few days. Now, though, with 3.9 snapshot I see the timeouts but it hasn't crashed yet from it:
